Selected Assemblage paintings: I consider paintings primarily as objects and often combine them with other objects and collage. 

Lowly materials such as the lids of cans or discarded objects are used with more traditional art and craft materials or precious gold leaf.
Collaged materials are layered over canvases, sometimes with holes cut to reveal layers below.
